Eeerrr Earth Hour – Sadu’s version

This is one of the hottest, greatest and important topics that everyone is talking about. The 60 EARTH HOUR…. which falls on today, 28 March 2009. All human being are encouraged to play their part and participate (if you can). Just play your part by switching OFF all lights! For those who are sharing the same time with me, GMT +8, you need to switch off your lights for an hour starting from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.

For those of you who cant, example like me, we just have to pretend we did it too……… The reason I can’t off the lights at that hour is because I am up in the air and I don’t control the air craft. =D Won’t want any unforeseen circumstances to happen during that one hour. So Happy Earth HOUR, everyone!

Vote Earth!

I suppose I’m prolly one of the few thousands (if not millions) who are writing an entry about today’s most awaited event – EARTH HOUR!  Yes, today will mark a day where we vote for Mother Earth and play our part by simply committing to switching off all lights for an hour.  Only ONE HOUR.  I did ask Meekoo, “What about the fan? AC? TV?…internet? (with much worry in my tone)”… but no! All you have to do is just make sure you do whatever you wanna do in the dark for that 60 minutes.

Some things you can do to show that you have voted and supported Earth Hour:-

• Take a photo and upload it to your Flickr account.  Tag it with your city and country.  Then, add it to Earth Hour’s flickr group.  Easy?
• Take a video of whatever event or thing that you were up to during that hour.  Upload it to YouTube and again, add it to Earth Hour’s YouTube group
• Blog it! No lights can still us PC or notebook ma?! So, why not blog about it? Then, tag your entry with earthhour or voteearth, and your location.  I’ll try to do this if I’m at home with Harry or Ethan
• Twitter dedicate your Twits to #earthhour or #voteearth along with your #location.  Do a big shoutout to all your followers

I guess these isn’t too hard to commit to.  Just a matter of setting a reminder & remembering to do it.  When? 

8.30PM tonight 28 MARCH 2009 (Saturday) Wherever you are, whatever you do – JUST TURN THE BLARDY LIGHTS OFF!

Pineapples…

Peeps, I’m sorry for being away for quite a bit.  I’ve recently started my little corner albeit not contributing much either; but that does kept me away from s33o for quite a bit.  Nevertheless, it’s down to a quiet weekend and since both Jup & SaDu are both away (again!), I shall just drop in a note and announce my presence. 

 

You know guys…is it just me or is it really MAXIS in generally that is completely crazy lately? Whenever I’m around my home area (or maybe some other places too), my phone will not be able to make/receive calls, send SMSes! It’s crazy i tell you.  I hate those 3 words Error in Connection! And messages keeps coming in hours later :(  Imagine if a Prince Charming ask me out and I missed it?! Crapso rite? *sigH*

 

Anyways, if you happen to have trouble reaching me, it means I’m stuck somewhere with this great MAXIS problem! And yet they have the balls to offer the iPhone package! crapso

 

Okla..by now you must be wondering what does pineapple have to do with MAXIS.. 😛 Actually…nothing! hahaha.. I just happen to be walloping a big fat plate of pineapples.  Hence, the title of the entry.  Speaking of which..I’m down to the last 4 pieces *gaaakk*… I sure hope my gastric doesn’t act up

 

I went by GP today to grab some Bobbi Brown stuffs for my mum.  Everything is so temptingly nice! 😀 I really wish I am loaded and can afford everything :(  Very unfortunately…I should just continue to use 2nd hand products 😛

 

Haiyo…okla.  I think I’ll stop here.  I think the pineapples are tumbling and rumbling inside my tummy 😀

Silent

I just feel that everyone has been carried away with work work work and there isn’t a time ………… to just break the silent here. So sad ! Well, we have come a long way to put up with this blog and I do hope that we will still have the strength to carry it on.

Sometimes, we need a break in our life to get things back on track again…. See some greens might help. Staring at this lovely windows for 24 hours a day might just kill your eyes and eventually your soul. Enjoy some green to relax…
