It has been long while I never blog. Not that I don’t blog at all, but… It’s not as frequent as I used to be, or as much effort or time that I used to spent to blog. This is not right, at least to me. 😐

Anyway, I am glad that we managed to find a time slot for 3 of us to go for a nice dinner!

Hmm… Nowadays, I write across several days for a blog entry. Now I am continuing after… 5? Or probably 6 days! To be continue…

Let’s get this up today! 😀

We went to SmokyJack Ribs & Steak House. The day before this big event, 3 of us chat online trying to compromise on the dress code for THE dinner. Finally, I am not sure I lost track, or Baby and SaDu confused… I recall we finally agree on wearing anything…

So, when Baby came by and fetched me, she said I didn’t follow the dress code. 😦 I was surprised… We are supposed to wear black top? I refused because it’s the 15th of 7th month in lunar calendar. It’s kinda scary when thinking about it. 😛 Anyway, I did have a black top! I brought a black shawl, then I am aligned to the dress code! Haha!

SaDu and I brought camera. She brought her D90, and I brought my D40x. Yup, both of us got new camera. To be precise, I got a new old camera, and she got a brand new camera. Hahaha! What am I mumbling about?

OK, cut the crap short. To be continue again…

I hope this is going to be posted up today. I have been dragging for too long. This show how bad personality I have in one of myself. 😦

Baby came and drove us there. I felt the tensed, stressed and everything mixed up between us. (Or, I am just over stressed. :P)

As we entered the restaurant, we felt like we entered an alien domain. There are a lot of cocoons there. I am glad that we were not sitting in any of the cocoons (though I am not originated from the Earth too). I am not quite sure where these cocoons coming from.

Anyway, our table was next to a group of human. Baby was disturbed and sent us SMS. I did see and overhear those human looked at us, and talked about us. I guess SaDu and I were busy with our camera, that’s why we never bother about them. However, I didn’t charge the battery; my camera went off after a few shots. There goes my first experience with my new baby.

We ordered soups… OK, I ordered clam chowder, SaDu ordered mushroom soup, and Baby ordered… asparagus soup? I can’t recall now! I only can recall, the soup taste the same, but at a different level of saltiness.

It is normal for me not remembering the food that we ordered too. 😛 We had lamb, beef and chicken… And we had spaghetti too! The lamb and spaghetti were very very nice! The food portion was big enough to stop us from ordering desserts distressed. 😀

We chat a lot after meal, mostly on relationship thingy. I think that is one of our most headache topics in life that we have to bear with it. Work? Of course, that’s another big chunk of life contribute to our stress level! Arrgghh! Stop thinking about it!

Somehow, we were attracted by a couple sit at the other end of the small space after the group of human went off. We were guessing if they are she-she, or he-she, and did they kiss??!! Yeah! SaDu had the best spot to view the real action. I only can do some guessing. Baby said at their body language and position, there’s no way they can kiss. It was indeed very good distraction to our stress. So, we do not need desserts to end our dinner.

SaDu was drunk with her pine-apple juice. The drunken symptom was lengthening by another dose of pine-apple next day! 😀

Three of us didn’t take much photo. We didn’t take a group photo, and we didn’t land any s33o foot print there!

Some updates from us, Baby went to Malacca, SaDu flied to Melbourne, and I visited Kedah last week. Quite happening huh?!

Our anniversary is coming; I wish I’ll be here, though I wish I can be going on oversea assignment too. 😀

I know I know, s33o have not been hanging out as a group for a long time. Sorry about that as none of our schedule seems to come to an agreement. But however, we manage to settle and block 26 June for this outing which is conjunction with Jup’s birthday.

Yes….. I am glad we managed to do this as we miss out Baby’s birthday celebration (none of our schedule meets). Personally, I have been looking forward to that day. It’s about time we just hang out and have fun!!! That morning itself, I had called up to make reservation for 3 as Baby was afraid that the place might be fully booked! Done, reservation for 3 at 7pm. We car pooled that evening with Jup (the driver). On her way down, she picked me up and then Baby before hitting our destination.Off we went……. wwooohhh………..

Here we are at Edelweiss Cafe at 7pm! Phew… thank God there wasn’t much jam on that day if not we would be really late and we won’t want that. At least not on Jup’s birthday! As we entered we were greeted by the staff and told her that we make a reservation for 3 this morning. Then she checked and showed us to our table. A table in the middle of the in house garden. It was lovely. The place is an old pre-war house concept with lots of olden stuff for display.

We ordered quite a number of food and we love the desserts better than the main dish. These are the food that we ordered and in conjunction with Jup’s birthday, Edelweiss got to know about that, gave us a FREE slice of cheese cake! It’s yummy! I am drooling now. 😛

If you are there, I insist that you go and check out the TOILET. Yes… i said it correctly the toilet. :DHave fun !

To be continue……………………..

You know it was an interesting evening for me. I think I am very fortunate to have Baby visiting me at home. Guess what, she didn’t come alone… she bought a Polar Bear with her. This special Polar Bear (PB) is afraid of heat so I was scared that PB might melt in my house since today’s weather is HOT HOT HOT. I hope PB is comfortable as I know Baby is very comfy at my home. She loves it! On the other hand, Baby bought me a lovely basket of fruits with Teddy sharing her love with me! That is so sweet of her. =D                Fruits – Teddy – Love

I am thankful to God for all the people who take their time off to pay me a visit. Thanks Everyone!!!! TGIF – Thank God for Friends!!!  Love you guys………………. Hugs and Kisses

Ethan* has been ill since last week and I haven’t been able to figure out exactly what is wrong or what went wrong.  All has been well, albeit the slowness, but definitely not a frequent turning-blue on me 😦  So the last few days (till now), I haven’t been too productive thanks to the constant fear of Ethan dying on me and not to mention the interruption while I wait till he gets his colors back *sigh*  I sure hope it’s not a sign for me to reset & start all over again… I can’t afford the time spent and the effort required for all these… not now…not this year! I seriously have too much on my plate.

Anyways, I’ve taken quite a break from writing in the past two weeks.  Like I said.. – Busy.  Yes; I am and it’s not an excuse (well…..maybe not 100% an excuse).  So, yesterday, I kinda took the opportunity to kill many birds with one Heart! A Young Heart in fact 😉 (lame pun i know).

Oh well, the s33o thought it would prolly be good to meet up and catch up before CNY comes since the last time we actually meet up was like almost a month ago.  All thanks to the holidays and my extremely busy schedule (plus, L is back after 2 months break *grin*). So, Jup & I suggested to have a lunch together yesterday at this cool restaurant call Young Hearts 😉  The place is owned by a lady of who shared a childhood story behind the origin of the place which she named Young Hearts.  I must say that she (or whoever) has definitely put in much thought to make this place a cozy & healthy-living-concept venue; Jup & I love it, that’s for sure.  And from SaDu’s respond yesterday, I believe she has found a good place for quality good and peaceful ambience.  Wanna why else we picked the venue? It has WiFi connection!! *woot woot*  Which leads to the fact that we actually planned to do some live blogging over after lunch! Awesome idea…except the next time we wanna do that… I need to make sure I have more time to offer b’cos I was definitely stressed out trying to rush the photos (of which we kept on cam-whoring) while trying to remember the bits of the outing; not good!

Quite a simple & modest place..

One of the reasons why I claim that the owner really put in a lot of careful thoughts for the place is because I noticed the plants that they have with-in and with-out the premise consists of leafy plants that are heart-shaped! YES! HEART-SHAPED! Amazing rite?  I’m so in love with those and almost wanted to grab a pot (or two) but I wasn’t driving and I wasn’t heading home to L’s place..so, no heart-shape leaf for me this round.  BTW, if you happen to want to own one of those species that they sell…pop over their place.  Apparently it’s cheaper to get it there than to get it somewhere else (I think the chap mentioned Pesta *shrug*).  Oh! If you check out the pic on the plants.. you’ll noticed the small pots which has 1 heart-shaped leaf and 2s.  According to the young chap..if you purchase those, basically that’s all you will get the rest of the living days of the leaf.  It won’t bear new offspring nor will it grow any bigger.  But if you get the one which comes with the stem (bottom right corner), then, it’ll eventually grow into a bigger plant (top 3rd from left).  Cool eh?  And there’s this plant which is almost like the common money-plant we see (top right)..but..the leaves are HEART-SHAPED!! (of cos!) 😀 Awesome rite? Oh oh…and I actually saw a fresh pussy willow there – pretty cool too cos I’ve never seen a real living plant.  All my lives..it has always been the dried ones in my house which I always thought someone stuff the fluffy cotton ball into the brown husks and plug them into the stem *grin*  I know…stupid!

Dainty ain’t it! Look carefully…heart-shaped leaves! They are for sale 🙂

It won’t be a s33o outing if there weren’t any cam-whoring.  But seriously, I have to confess.  This round, I just haven’t the time to really prepare more pictures for the post.  So, do pardon my lack of evidence to our yet-another-awesome outing *blush*  Table 9 was where we sat (just to make a point..not that it matters).  Jup was thoughtful and brought along a bottle of nail polish which was a little between margenta, hot pink or purple.  Not a color that I would opt for but since she demanded that we wear red or non-black-or-non-grey; so, she thought the nail polish would go well *grin* While I’m typing now…I can still see a generous amount of the nail polish on my nails although not in the best condition (I’ve been spring cleaning the house ok!)

As mentioned..even SaDu thinks the food was good.  I made most of the order while Jup chose the 3+1 taste chicken (三杯鸡) & Chinese gyoza (锅贴), and SaDu chose the rice roll (something like the Vietnamese prawn rice roll).  We had pork rib with black bean sauce (排骨黑豆酱), the ever famous sour+hot soup (must try!), pickled lotus root (my favorite) and ordered 2 pots of tea to share.  I don’t quite remember the combination of flowers in the tea but mainly 1 pot was for reduction of water retention and another for stress & digestion.  What I love about Young Hearts apart from the ambience is the healthy way of preparing the food.  The natural taste is well preserved and there just aren’t too much of flavoring to outdo the original taste.  However, I must warn you that the portion isn’t very big and the price is kinda high too.  Jup kinda mentioned they may have student price *wink*

After all the dishes had been completely wiped off by 3 hungry fellas, we began work.  In between the attempt of trying to do some live blogging (more of catching up on old outings!) – I broke a cup of honey & caused a mess (sorry), I got stressed up and kept asking Jup to stop distracting me, kept asking kaypo questions despite requesting others not to distract me 😛 Above all……I still failed to blog anything yesterday! Both Jup & SaDu successfully put up their entries here & here. Oh well…I’ll try again the next time.  I just had too short of a time & it’s not like I’m a seasoned blogger to cough out an entry within a short time (including photo editing leh!!).  Anyways, before I had to rush off yesterday, we made sure we celebrated SaDu’s super belated b’day! (sorry dear, i we didn’t mean to drag it till now)  I’ll just leave you to the remaining pictures we took.

There goes my weekend and here comes Mr. Monday! *wail*

Note: I actually spent the past 3 hours trying to complete this entry.  But my line has been so awfully bad that I could not even load a single image up! What turf!
