Sometimes I wish I’ll never have to go through cycles of emotional roller coaster. I hate days when I wait impatiently for my best friend to come and my days go completely haywire thanks to constant PMS. At some points in my life, I’m beginning to convince myself that perhaps there really isn’t any Pre-Menstrual Syndrome – it’s almost pre-, during- and post- for me! Craps!
Anyways, it’s another of those sucky day where I feel like burying myself into the pillow and just scream my hearts out. But no, I can’t and I am not. I stayed on at work till 9.30pm today – no, I wasn’t working. I was just too busy YouTube-ing and surfing around. Was completely attracted by this new local audiophile group call 2V1G (2 Voices and 1 Guitar). You can check them out at YouTube. I think my fren introduz me to them a while back but I just wasn’t too interested. Well, you can go check them out. They only render unplugged Chinese songs.
Let’s switch to something less moody or musically attuned. Let’s talk about makeup & food! Hehe..thatz supposed to be something we females are good at! Shopping is a byproduct *grinz* These pix were supposed to be up on the blog a couple of weeks back but I guess all of us were just too occupied with our work. Ohh..speaking of which..Congratz to Jup’s sister for her wedding! *grin* Ok..back to makeup. Three of us made an appointment with Bobbi Brown 2 weeks ago cos BB was doing a launch for their Holiday Copper Diamond Event where they launch some shimmer lip gloss and eye shadows. So, we left work and headed for the mall. Our appointment was initially at 8.00pm but was pushed out by 30 minutes. We were all really hungry by the time we got to the mall but we only had 1 hour before our appointment. Hence, we had to kill time taking photos in the new wing of the mall and tried very hard to distract our minds from our tummy. When it was FINALLY time, we stormed our way to the BB counter and demanded for our samples and our makeover session. But we were only told that they could only do ONE person since they were short-handed (some kind of excuse :() Anyways, SaDu was appointed to be our model for the makeup session where the makeup artist was suppose to educate us on basic makeup; focusing more on eye makeup. Let’s just say, SaDu wasn’t very impressed with her (ok…that’s a mild version.. she was completely not pleased with her :P). Well, on a good side..she’s quite pretty & sweet 😀
So, after some makeup & cam-whoring, SaDu ended up spending 400++ bucks on products *eek* Told ya women can be quite scary. When we were finally done with Bobbi Brown, it was FINALLY time to feed our screaming tummy. Took us a while to battle about dinner suggestions – we settled for Kim Gary. Thank god the dinner crowds were dispersing, we were seated in a jiffy. Did anyone tell you never to order food when you are hungry? Well, it’s bad i tell you! 3 of us just couldn’t decide on what to eat just because everything seemed to appeal to our growling bottomless-pit.
